Method

The Pilates Method is a unique stretching and strengthening exercise system developed by Joseph Pilates (1880-1967) over 90 years ago.

It is based on breathing, physical balance, and on the development of strong core muscles. This refers to the balance of the postural musculature (Abdominal, lumbar, pelvic, adductor) responsible for the support and stabilization of the body.

Pilates is a gentle impact free form of exercise. It develops the control, precision and flow of movement. It promotes the necessary functional reeducation needed for everyday activities.

It contemplates a vast repertoire of exercises executed on the mat or on devices specifically designed to work all the muscles of the body. It offers personalized training by an accredited teacher.
